ChainMaille One This sterling silver chain maille* necklace created by Lisa. The pendant was created and signed by Loren. The length of this necklace including the hook is about 22 1/2". Each ring was individually formed, sawed, then pieced together. The pattern is called the Byzantine Chain. The sterling silver clasp was not made by us. This necklace took about 11 or so hours from start to finish including making the pendant. The pendant is almost 2" long and 1 1/4" wide. This is a well built piece that will last a long time if it is taken care of properly. This is sterling silver so it will need to be polished every so often.
*There are many ways to spell chain maille including: chainmaille, chain mail, chain malle and many combinations thereof. |
